I had an extremely favorable experience working with Jerold. I am new to pocket watch collecting, and I brought him my first purchase, a 1905 Waltham. Two of the arms had fallen off shortly after my purchase and the winding was stiff and uneven. The watch just felt very fragile. Jerold quickly dissembled it in front of me and diagnosed the issues to prioritize on my limited budget. He kept me updated throughout the process with periodic photo updates. He returned to me a gleaming, stable watch which now keeps great time in all positions. I couldn't be happier with the results. It's hard to believe something 120 years old can look and work so great. An added bonus is the detailed invoice Jerold provides with his work, which is fantastic for recordkeeping. Jerold is quite knowledgeable and passionate about vintage pocket watch collecting and repair. No surprise, he's working on one of my next purchases, an Illinois Bunn Special! I recommend him without qualification.
